Legislative Department Marks Swachhata Hi Seva with Kit Distribution at Shastri Bhawan
The kits were handed out in recognition of the sanitation staff’s dedication and active participation in the campaign.
New Delhi, October 1: The Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice on Monday observed Swachhata Hi Seva with a cleanliness drive at Shastri Bhawan, reaffirming its commitment to the Swachh Bharat Mission.
As part of the initiative, “Swachhata Kits” were distributed to safai karamcharis by Secretary Dr Rajiv Mani, along with Additional Secretaries Dr Manoj Kumar, RK Pattanayak, and Dr KV Kumar. The kits were handed out in recognition of the sanitation staff’s dedication and active participation in the campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajiv Mani stressed the importance of individual responsibility in maintaining hygiene and urged both employees and sanitation workers to contribute actively to sustaining cleanliness in their surroundings.
Officials said the campaign reflects the government’s broader resolve to build a cleaner and healthier environment across all departments, with safai karamcharis playing a pivotal role in sustaining the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
