Vintage Coffee subsidiary to invest in 20-acre facility at Food Processing Park under TG-IPASS clearances
Hyderabad, December 11: Vintage Coffee and Beverages Limited (VCBL) signed an MoU with the government of Telangana to establish a premium freeze-dried coffee plant with an installed capacity of 5,500 metric tonnes per annum. The agreement was inked during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 at Bharat Future City. The project will be developed by Vintage Coffee Private Limited, VCBL’s wholly owned subsidiary.
As part of the understanding, the Telangana government will allocate 20 acres in the Food Processing Park and extend all necessary facilitation under TG-IPASS, including clearances, approvals and departmental coordination. Formal project-specific agreements with respective state agencies will follow in due course based on the MoU guidelines.
VCBL chairman and managing director Balakrishna Tati said the partnership marks a major growth milestone for the company. “The establishment of our premium freeze-dried coffee plant in Telangana demonstrates our commitment to creating world-class coffee processing infrastructure in India. Telangana’s progressive industrial policies and proactive governance have given us the confidence to invest in this landmark project,” he said.
He added that the new facility will enhance VCBL’s production capacity while contributing to employment generation, farmer value creation and the growth of the regional food-processing sector. The state government has recognised the upcoming plant as a mega project.
VCBL currently manufactures and exports instant coffee and beverages, with a strong presence in private labelling. The company recently expanded its production capacity to 6,500 MT and plans to scale it up to 11,000 MT by March 2026. It has also initiated work on a separate greenfield project to set up an additional 5,500 MT of freeze-dried instant coffee capacity, scheduled for commissioning by March 2027.
