Bengaluru, September 26: NETSCOUT Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), a global leader in observability, AIOps, cybersecurity, and DDoS protection, on Friday announced new solutions to help cable providers and multiple service operators (MSOs) deliver high-quality customer experiences while driving down operational costs.

With global demand for streaming, gaming, IoT devices, and smart home automation rising sharply, the fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) market is projected to grow from $56.03 billion in 2024 to $110.44 billion by 2030. To stay competitive, MSOs are adopting NETSCOUT’s DPI-enhanced observability technology, which provides curated, high-fidelity smart data to power AI and machine learning, enabling more efficient operations and preventative problem-solving.

Paolo Trevisan, AVP of Product Management at NETSCOUT, said: “DPI-enhanced observability plays a critical role for cable providers and MSOs as they seek ways to reduce operational costs and retain their customers.”

NETSCOUT’s Omnis™ AI Insights platform provides real-time network visibility to improve video streaming and OTT performance. It allows operators to remotely identify and resolve issues across distributed infrastructures, cutting the need for unnecessary technician visits, while also predicting and avoiding service outages. The system helps prioritize support by identifying how many subscribers are affected during degradations, supports high-performance applications like online gaming, and strengthens compliance with service-level agreements.

By combining deep-packet inspection (DPI) with AI/ML, NETSCOUT offers MSOs a path to reduce costs, improve resilience, and keep customers loyal in a competitive digital landscape. The company will showcase these innovations at SCTE’s TechExpo 2025 in Denver (Sept. 29–Oct. 1, Booth D412).
