Muthoot Finance Invites Applications for Higher Education Scholarships 2025–26

210 Meritorious Students to Receive Scholarships Under the 9th Edition of Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarship Program
Kochi, November 8: Muthoot Finance, India’s largest gold loan NBFC, has announced the launch of the 9th edition of the Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarships 2025–26, inviting applications from meritorious students pursuing higher education in professional courses.
Now in its ninth year, the program underscores Muthoot Finance’s commitment to empowering India’s youth by promoting equitable access to higher education. Over the past editions, the initiative has supported 394 students with a total scholarship outlay of ₹3.94 crore.
Under the 2025–26 program, 210 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students admitted to B.Tech, MBBS, or B.Sc Nursing programs during the current academic year. Eligible applicants from Kerala and major metros — Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata — can apply online at https://mgmscholarship.muthootgroup.com by November 30, 2025.
Scholarship Benefits and Eligibility
Each selected MBBS student will receive a total of ₹2,40,000, while B.Tech and B.Sc Nursing students will receive ₹1,20,000 each, covering the four-year duration of their course.
Ten students from each stream — MBBS, B.Tech, and B.Sc Nursing — will be selected per location, amounting to 30 scholars from every city.
Applicants must have:
- Secured 90% or above (or equivalent grade) in the Class 12 examination.
- A family income not exceeding ₹2 lakh per annum.
- Admission to a recognized institution through the relevant entrance examination.
While applying, candidates must select the region corresponding to their permanent residence, not the college location.
