Visakhapatnam: Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd reported a 186% year-on-year increase in total income to ₹32,088.93 crore for FY26, driven by strong growth in its medical imaging, AI diagnostics and healthcare technology businesses.

The company also posted a sharp improvement in profitability, with EBITDA rising 1,052% to ₹5,539.71 crore and net profit surging 2,489% to ₹3,107.38 crore during the financial year.

Revenue increased 179% year-on-year to ₹30,857.56 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded to 17.3% from 4.3% a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share rose to ₹0.45 from ₹0.02 in FY25.

For the first half of FY26, total income grew 227% to ₹20,119.15 crore, while net profit increased 1,098% to ₹1,210.64 crore.

Ravindran Govindan, Chairman of Fischer Medical Ventures, said the company delivered significant improvements across operational and financial parameters during the year.

“The steep rise in profitability reflects the scalability of our model, better product realisation and the growing acceptance of Fischer’s technology across India and overseas markets,” he said.

The company reported several strategic milestones during the year, including a partnership with the City of Jember in Indonesia to deploy AI-powered portable X-ray systems as part of tuberculosis elimination initiatives. The project is valued at approximately $10 million.

Fischer also secured regulatory approvals in Indonesia, enabling participation in government tenders for handheld X-ray systems under the country’s End-TB programme.

In India, the company received an order from the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Department for the supply and installation of 65 digital radiography units.

The company expanded its diagnostic imaging presence through the launch of a high-resolution Open MRI system at Sunray Scans in Chennai and the installation of a PICA 0.35T Open MRI system at STNM Hospital in Sikkim.

During the year, Fischer introduced its low-field TOF MRI platform, VEGA, designed for brain aneurysm diagnosis, and launched next-generation 1.5T MRI platforms under the MICA and QUIN brands.

The company also announced the development of DRIS-iMRI Medharanya, an intraoperative MRI platform being developed in partnership with neurosurgeon Iype Cherian. The system is designed to provide surgeons with real-time imaging during complex neurosurgical procedures.

Further strengthening its global profile, Fischer became the first industry partner recognised by the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies’ Innovation and Technology Committee.

Headquartered in Andhra Pradesh with manufacturing operations at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone in Visakhapatnam, Fischer Medical Ventures, through its subsidiary Time Medical International Ventures (India), is recognised by CDSCO as the first Indian company manufacturing indigenous MRI systems.

The company’s portfolio spans MRI systems, AI-powered healthcare software, tuberculosis and cancer screening solutions, handheld X-ray devices, digital health platforms and preventive healthcare technologies.
