DARPG Wins Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar for Second Year in a Row

Gandhinagar, September 15: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has been awarded the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (First Prize) for excellence in the use of Hindi as the official language. The award was presented by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to DARPG Secretary V. Srinivas during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the All India Official Language Conference held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, on Sunday.
The honour was conferred by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, in the category of Ministries/Departments with fewer than 300 personnel, for the year 2024–25. This marks the second consecutive year that DARPG has received the award.
The department said the recognition reflects its commitment to the effective implementation of the Union government’s official language policy. It added that continuous monitoring and promotion of Hindi across its sections and affiliated bodies have significantly enhanced the use of the language in official work.
