New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Culture has upgraded its Indian Culture Portal with a new version – Cultural Portal 2.0 – featuring a modern technology stack aimed at improving performance, accessibility, and user experience.

This information was provided by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

The revamped portal has been rebuilt using a React-based architecture, enabling a modular, component-driven framework designed to efficiently handle large datasets and high traffic volumes. The upgrade introduces improved search functionality, faster data retrieval, and API-based systems, significantly enhancing page speed and responsiveness.

The platform continues to serve as a comprehensive digital repository of India’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage, offering curated content for students, researchers, and the general public.
