New Delhi, August 28: Japanese consumer electronics brand AKAI has launched its new PowerView Series with Google TV powered by Android 14, aiming to redefine home entertainment for Indian households.

The lineup spans from a 32-inch HD Ready model to a 75-inch QLED display, with prices starting at ₹13,990. The series integrates QLED and 4K panels, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG, and MEMC motion smoothing, all powered by the MediaTek MT9603 chipset. It also comes with advanced gaming features and enhanced accessibility options.

Anurag Sharma, Managing Director & CEO, AKAI India, said the launch reflects AKAI’s strategy to anticipate consumer needs. “The AKAI PowerView TV goes beyond sharper screens and faster processors—it redefines how India watches, plays, and interacts with content,” he said.

Powered by Android 14, the TVs feature Google Assistant voice search, one-click access to streaming apps, personalized recommendations, and regular security updates. They also support Miracast and New Cast for low-latency content sharing from smartphones.

The PowerView Series emphasizes inclusivity with features like dynamic colour correction, adjustable fonts, and improved subtitle readability, catering to colour-impaired users and elderly viewers. Energy-efficient design and gesture-friendly navigation align with AKAI’s focus on sustainable innovation.

The new TVs will be available through leading offline retailers and AKAI’s official direct-to-consumer platform, akaiindia.in.
