AbhiBus Launches AI-Generated Festive Ad Campaign with Dussehra, Diwali Discounts

Gurugram, October 1: AbhiBus, the bus-ticketing arm of ixigo, has unveiled an AI-generated advertising campaign for its Grand Festive Bus Sale, offering discounts on bookings during the Dussehra and Diwali season.

The campaign, produced entirely in-house using AI tools for visuals and music, is part of AbhiBus’s effort to leverage technology for faster, smarter, and more cost-efficient marketing. The ads highlight festive travel while showcasing the brand’s innovation in storytelling.

Under the offer, new users can avail 50% off (up to ₹300) plus 50% cashback (up to ₹200) on their first booking using the coupon code FESTIVAL. Existing users can claim 50% off (up to ₹100) and 50% cashback (up to ₹200) on repeat bookings. The deal is valid twice per user, only on private bus operators, for bookings worth ₹1,000 or more, and can be redeemed daily between 12–2 PM and 6–8 PM for journeys from September 17 to October 28, 2025.

“By adopting AI across our entire marketing workflow, we’ve reduced production costs significantly while gaining agility to test and refine campaigns in record time,” said Rohit Sharma, COO, AbhiBus. “This allows us to connect with travellers more effectively during the festive season.”

AbhiBus has experimented with AI-led campaigns earlier, including Independence Day and Onam promotions featuring AI-generated visuals of Indian travel destinations.

Owned by ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Ltd), AbhiBus partners with over 4,000 bus operators, covering 3.5 lakh routes across India, and is an official ticketing partner for several state transport corporations and IRCTC.
