Grand Finale Celebrates Knowledge, Innovation, and India’s Maritime Legacy

Ezhimala (Kerala), November 7: The Grand Finale of THINQ-25 – The Indian Navy Quiz concluded with great enthusiasm and intellectual vibrancy at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on November 5, 2025. The event marked the culmination of a nationwide initiative celebrating knowledge, innovation, and India’s maritime heritage.

Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, graced the occasion as chief guest and commended the young finalists for their enthusiasm, awareness, and understanding of the nation’s maritime legacy. He highlighted the importance of nurturing curiosity and innovation among the youth — qualities vital for shaping future maritime thinkers and leaders.

Themed “MAHASAGAR”, this year’s edition of THINQ embodied the Indian Navy’s spirit of exploration and excellence, aiming to instill maritime consciousness among students across the country. From thousands of participants nationwide, 16 schools representing the North, South, East, and West Zones qualified for the semi-finals, with the top eight advancing to the Grand Finale.

In a spirited contest of intellect and teamwork, Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur emerged as Champions, while PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Samastipur secured the Runners-Up position.

The Grand Finale was live-streamed on the Indian Navy’s official YouTube and Facebook channels, attracting widespread participation and viewership from schools, naval establishments, and maritime enthusiasts across the country.

As the curtains came down on THINQ-25, the Indian Navy reaffirmed its commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity and maritime awareness among India’s youth — setting the course for THINQ-26, which promises to continue the voyage of knowledge and discovery.
