Hyderabad-Based NephroPlus Crosses 500 Dialysis Clinics Globally
Rohit Singh, Group CEO of Nephrocare Health Services Ltd
Hyderabad, October 8: NephroPlus, Asia’s largest dialysis service provider, has achieved a major milestone by crossing 500 dialysis clinics globally, marking a new chapter in its 15-year journey of expanding affordable and quality renal care across India and overseas.
The landmark was reached with the launch of a new 2,000 sq. ft. brownfield dialysis centre in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, established in partnership with Amrit Hospital.
Rohit Singh, Group CEO of Nephrocare Health Services Ltd, said the achievement reflects the company’s sustained growth and patient trust.
“Reaching 500 clinics is a proud milestone for all of us at NephroPlus. This achievement belongs to our guests who trust us, our partners who support us, and our teammates who power us every day. For us, 500 is not a finish line — it’s a launch pad. We are moving faster, reaching further, and aiming higher to redefine dialysis care in India and across borders.”
Founded in 2010 with a single clinic in Hyderabad, NephroPlus has since expanded its footprint across India and international markets, operating more than 500 centres including 43 international clinics in Nepal, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan, alongside strategic partnerships in Saudi Arabia.
Strategic Growth through Brownfield Expansion
The company continues to pursue expansion through its brownfield growth model, which involves taking over and operating existing dialysis clinics run by hospitals, not-for-profits, or private operators. This approach, the company says, allows faster scale-up with lower capital expenditure and quicker revenue realization, while enhancing operational synergies.
NephroPlus’s cluster-based model has also enabled it to serve both urban and semi-urban areas, improving access to dialysis care in tier-II and tier-III cities. As of March 31, 2025, the company operated 125 clinics in tier-II cities and 218 in tier-III locations, with strong presence in underserved regions.
In FY 2025, NephroPlus created 1,642 new jobs in smaller towns and trained 132 dialysis technicians, underscoring its dual focus on healthcare delivery and skill development.
Expanding Global Footprint
Building on its successful public-private partnership (PPP) and hospital partnership models, the company plans to replicate its integrated care approach in other emerging markets. The global expansion aligns with NephroPlus’s mission of delivering standardized, patient-centric dialysis care that meets international clinical benchmarks while remaining affordable.
The company’s milestone reinforces India’s growing stature as a hub for high-quality healthcare innovation and service delivery in the renal care sector.
