New Delhi, August 6: Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan on Tuesday called for a decisive shift in India’s military approach to confront contemporary security threats, stressing the urgent need to adapt to disruptive technologies, overhaul legacy structures, and strengthen Tri-Service integration.

Delivering the keynote address at the inaugural Annual Trident Lecture Series hosted by the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) on its Foundation Day at the Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt, General Chauhan highlighted the critical importance of technological convergence and integrated operations to maintain national security in an increasingly complex battlespace.
