Omaxe signs pact with Lemon Tree subsidiary for 10 hotels with 4000 rooms
The projects involve an estimated ₹4,000 crore investment across transit hubs, pilgrimage destinations and commercial centres, with development and commissioning timelines ranging from nine months to five years.
The properties will be operated under Lemon Tree Hotels’ brand portfolio and will cater to a mix of hospitality segments.

NEW DELHI: Omaxe has signed a memorandum of understanding with Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, to operate 10 hotel projects comprising approximately 4,000 rooms across India.
The arrangement forms part of Omaxe’s ₹6,200-crore hospitality expansion announced in June 2026, which envisages 19 hotels across five states, the company said in a statement on October 16.
The 10 projects involve an estimated investment of ₹4,000 crore and cover locations in Lucknow, Amausi, Vrindavan, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Amritsar, Kaushambi and Faridabad.
The properties will operate under Lemon Tree Hotels’ brand portfolio and serve different hospitality segments. Development and commissioning are expected to take between nine months and five years, depending on the project.
The proposed portfolio includes hotels at two bus terminals in Lucknow, a property near the airport in Amausi, two developments in Vrindavan and service apartments in Amritsar. Other properties are planned within Omaxe’s commercial developments in Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Kaushambi and Faridabad.
Omaxe said the projects would follow a sale-led development model, with completion expected to be funded through sales proceeds without loan funding.
Omaxe Managing Director Mohit Goel said the company was targeting accommodation demand in smaller cities, temple towns, commercial centres and transit hubs.
Lemon Tree Hotels Managing Director Neelendra Singh said the arrangement would expand the company’s managed portfolio across markets and property formats, supporting its asset-light growth strategy.
The partnership extends Omaxe’s hospitality business alongside its township, commercial and mixed-use developments.
