Cosmo First reports 25% rise in sales volume; Q2 FY26 revenue up 21% YoY to ₹919 crore

Specialty chemicals and consumer businesses drive growth; new product launches and capacity expansion to accelerate momentum in H2 FY26
New Delhi, Nov 11: Cosmo First Limited reported consolidated revenue of ₹919 crore for the second quarter of FY26, a 21% increase year-on-year from ₹759 crore in Q2 FY25. The company’s EBITDA rose to ₹128 crore, driven by higher sales volume (up 25%) and robust performance of its specialty chemicals subsidiary, while PAT remained steady at ₹47 crore despite higher depreciation and interest from newly commissioned lines.
The company said margins were impacted by weaker commodity film pricing (BOPP and BOPET), elevated U.S. tariffs that could only be partially passed on to customers, and stabilization costs for new production lines. These new capacities, expected to reach full utilization by Q4 FY26, are key to the company’s next phase of growth.
Group CEO Pankaj Poddar said FY26 would focus on fully leveraging new investments and accelerating the scale-up of emerging businesses. “The FY26 focus will be on fully leveraging the investments in newer production lines and faster scaling of new businesses,” he said.
