Indian Air Force Fighter Jet Crashes in Rajasthan’s Churu; Fatalities Feared
An Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter jet crashed in an agricultural field near Bhanoda village in Rajasthan’s Churu district around 1:25 pm on Wednesday. Initial reports suggest a gruesome scene, with human remains found scattered around the crash site, indicating that the pilots may not have survived.
Police and emergency teams rushed to the spot, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
April 2025: A two-seater Jaguar aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Jamnagar Airfield during a night mission. One pilot, Siddharth Yadav, died from injuries sustained during ejection, while the other survived with injuries.
March 2025: An IAF fighter jet crashed during a routine training sortie in Haryana’s Panchkula. The pilot experienced a system malfunction but managed to steer the aircraft away from populated areas before ejecting safely.
February 2025: A Mirage 2000 twin-seater aircraft crashed near Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Both pilots ejected safely during the routine training sortie.
