Hyderabad: Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured a ₹1,401.84 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) for infrastructure development in the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) Phase 1 under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project.
The contract includes the development of key infrastructure networks in the industrial area and covers end-to-end delivery ranging from design and engineering to construction, testing, commissioning, and operations. The project is located in Raigad district, Maharashtra.
According to the company, the project will be executed within 930 days from the appointed date, followed by a four-year operations and maintenance period, which may be extended through mutual agreement.

The infrastructure package includes construction of roads and allied structures, stormwater drainage systems, water treatment and distribution networks, sewerage infrastructure, recycled water distribution systems, power distribution networks, and utility ducts for ICT services.
MITL is a special purpose vehicle formed with equity participation from the Government of India and the Maharashtra state government to develop Parcel B of the Dighi Port Industrial Area, a key node within the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
Ramky Infrastructure said the project will be executed using its internal engineering, planning, and commissioning capabilities, supported by standardised monitoring and delivery systems.
Strengthening industrial readiness
CEO Sunil Nair said the contract reinforces the company’s focus on large-format infrastructure opportunities that require strong engineering and operational capabilities.
“This LOA reinforces our execution-led strategy focused on selective, large-format opportunities where engineering depth, commissioning discipline, and lifecycle accountability are critical,” Nair said.
He added that once completed, the project will help strengthen industrial readiness at Dighi by providing reliable utilities and improving operational infrastructure for businesses establishing operations in the industrial area.
Expanding infrastructure portfolio
Headquartered in Hyderabad, Ramky Infrastructure is part of the Ramky Group and has experience in industrial infrastructure, water and wastewater treatment, roads, bridges, and urban infrastructure development.
The company has completed several EPC projects across India and overseas markets and employs a workforce of more than 2,000 professionals managing engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
The DPIA development is expected to play a key role in strengthening industrial growth in the region by supporting manufacturing and logistics investments under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor initiative.
