New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to civil servants across the country on the occasion of Civil Services Day, calling for a renewed commitment to good governance and nation building.
In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister underscored the critical role played by civil servants in shaping India’s development journey, from grassroots implementation to high-level policy-making.
“Greetings to all civil servants on Civil Services Day. This is an occasion to further strengthen the resolve to work towards good governance and nation building,” the Prime Minister said.
Highlighting their wide-ranging impact, he noted that the efforts of civil servants touch countless lives and significantly contribute to India’s progress.
“From the grassroots to policy-making, the efforts of civil servants touch countless lives and contribute to India’s progress. May our civil servants continue to serve with excellence, compassion and innovation, upholding the highest standards of duty,” he added.
